Mankind is a young race and it is just starting to learn.
According to the legend, for making this learning ease, the
human race was given a book, describing the structure of the
world in the part which is for them comprehensible. This is
Tarot book. Although often say that Tarot describes the mechanism
of the Universe creation, but actually it describes the creation
of three-dimensional world. Practically it is the document,
stating that the human world has its history and its right
for existence. It is the ABC book and the passport simultaneously.
The modern Tarot block consists of the Junior and Senior Arcanes,
but it doesn't mean that there are no other groups of Arcanes.
The presence of two parts of the block means that other constituents
are just waiting for their turn. And even the meanings of
each card which are found in the modern books and seem to
be rather well-known, really are not so well-known as it looks.
Knowledge gives power over that you know. Tarot is a magical
system, not a fortune-telling. Perceiving the world through
this book, you get the power over the perceived world. That's
why avoid "sugary" blocks: displaying the cards,
you touch the sphere of witchcraft and sugariness is not compatible
with witchcraft.
The systems, used like oracles are not equal. Tarot reading
has become a fashionable and stylish occupation. But you must
know that it implies that you are interested in your way of
development as a personality and have come to learn.
Some sources propose to use Arcanes to get to know the age
of the person, hair colour etc. Yes, sometimes we need such
information, but believe me, Tarot don't do for it.
When do Tarot stop answering?
Objections of adherents of this approach usually are such:
"the main thing is that it works, the rest is not important".
The thing is that Tarot, being a divine oracle, has its current
authorities. As far as the aim of Tarot is the development
of the finder and not in answering ordinary questions, in
such approach the "hot line" switches. In such case
you'll feel that Tarot have stopped giving distinct answers.
It is the sign that you have misused or overdone Tarot.
The point is that such mistakes and liberties in treating
Tarot work in hands of beginners when he is allowed a bit
as a researcher-beginner, but only till the definite moment.
In some time you'll stop to be the beginner and those things
which were allowed yesterday, doesn't get away. And one day
the cards stop answering. If it has happened, put the cards
away and think about your mistakes. If you realize them, cards
will continue telling again.
How to prevent such situation? First of all don't ask questions
caused by curiosity. Also it is better to hold the block divided
into junior and senior Arcanes, using junior to view the lower
level of your course of life and using senior to view the
way o f the soul. And you should never bother junior Arcanes
to get concrete answers - other oracles for it exist. You
should better use your own clairvoyance for such purposes.
Further: the meaning of each oracle is too broad and all-embracing
to try to arrange some meaning tables as many authors try
to do. In general avoid block-making. If you realize that
some Arcane is losing his multiple meanings, becoming very
common and perfect, it is the sign that you have put the usual
meanings for you on the clear perception and as a result you
lose a lot of information. Let your perception stay more open
and flexible.
Also you should not ask questions that you are lazy to find
out yourselves. I remind you once more: Tarot are taken when
you want to change something in yourself, get to know something
new, for self-perfection, make one more step in your Way.
Don't try to get prepared answers, which allow you not to
think, not to look for the new.
How to ask the cards?
The main thing while working with Tarot is the ability to
ask questions. Correct question is a half of the answer. Card-reading
is a conversation.
So, what is correct question?
Firstly, it is the question that is the most interesting,
important and necessary for you. The questions are asked by
heart, by inside and there lies the answer. And cards help
find it, to bring to the light.
Your question is a net that you draw down into yourself. As
the net is so the answer is. The question is asked not by
head. It is asked by your soul, by inside; as the hungry emptiness
is waiting t be filled. Having no genuine interest towards
the answer it is impossible to form the question.
Secondly, don't ask questions in "general". The
more general is your question, the more general will be your
answer, while you usually are interested in something definite.
You will understand that the question is too general, paying
attention to your inner emptiness: if you manage to feel it,
you have formulated to question correctly and you'll be able
to get the answer. As if this emptiness acquires boundaries.
But if there are no such boundaries, the answer will be as
all-embracing and useless therefore. "What should I do
to … ", "What can change in myself …", "What
does this person introduce in my situation?" etc. are
examples of the questions that can be given answers
Everything you ask must be felt. If you ask the person, feel
him deeply. If you ask about the situation, fell deeply the
situation. If asking about time, feel deeply the duration
of that time. Everyone has subjective sensation of the time,
so call for it.
And take one or several cards at random, as your hand goes,
If you take one card, confide to it and catch what you hear.
If there are several cards, look among them as if they were
conjoint into one. Now it is one card, one picture. Look and
listen, confine to yourself and don't dismiss what you have
heard or seen.
And that will be your answer :)
This is the basis of inquiry of the cards.
