Tarot cards is one of the most amazing instrument of perception,
allowing the person to comprehend the nature of his inner
feelings and experiences and the nature of the events, happening
around. With the help of Tarot it is possible to analyze the
past, view the future, work with subconsciousness, get an
answer of the surrounding unseen space.
It is necessary to learn the language of the unseen world
to communicate with it. One of such languages is the language
of signs and symbols. It is not obligatory to be a clairvoyant
to take a block of cards in your hands.
Every card is called the arcane, what means "mystery",
"secret" in Latin. The images of classical Tarot
are understandable to everyone as we live with them since
our birth.
The block contains of 78 cards and consists of 22 Senior
arcanes and 56 Junior arcanes. Senior arcanes are placed in
strict order, holding the meaning of the number they are given.
The card-readers call Tarot the Book of wisdom. Junior arcanes
are divided into 4 suits and have their meanings.
In such form the block has appeared in Europe in 14 century.
There are different assumptions concerning the origin of the
cards. Some think the tarot images have come to us from the
Priests of Ancient Egypt. Others believe the roots of the
cards are in Europe and arrogate their creation to Greeks
or Celts.
Mystics and members of secret communities consider Tarot
to be the bearer of the sacred knowledge and may be displeased
that the cards are used by uninitiated. But every person irrespective
of his level of development and preparation can find answers
to his questions from signs of the outside. And such sign
may be a cloud, a word said by a passer-by etc. And certainly
the pictures on the cards.
